Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an installation service for replacement locks. We recommend contacting a qualified local locksmith who can assist you with fitting the new lock securely and safely.
For security reasons, we ask that replacement locks or keys are sent to an alternative delivery address - not the address of the mailbox. This ensures you can access your order without needing the key or lock you're replacing.
If you do not have a key number, then you can only purchase a replacement mailbox lock. Unfortunately, we do not hold a record of key numbers for mailboxes for security reasons and cannot provide historic information on previous key numbers for your mailbox.
Unfortunately, if you don't have the key number, you’ll need to purchase a replacement lock for your mailbox. For security reasons, we do not store or access key codes from previous orders.
Changing your mailbox lock is a simple process and can be done in a few steps:
1. Remove the old lock – Open your mailbox and locate the securing nut or clip at the back of the lock. Use pliers or a wrench to remove it, then slide the lock out.
2. Insert the new lock – Align the new lock in the same position as the old one and secure it in place using the provided fixing mechanism.
3. Test the lock – Before closing your mailbox, check that the key turns smoothly and that the lock secures properly.
